WHS Class of 1965
Beloved teacher, coach and athletic director who spent 39 years in the Weiser school system and was inducted into the IHSAA Hall of Fame in 2018.

Teacher • Coach • Superintendent
Served 37 years in Weiser Public Schools as teacher, coach, principal and superintendent. Five principals he mentored went on to lead their own school districts.

1987 State Championship Football Team
Idaho Class A-2 State Champions • Undefeated Season
Led by head coach John Srholec, the 1987 Wolverines capped a perfect undefeated season with Weiser's first Idaho Class A-2 Football Championship, defeating American Falls 41-7 at the Minidome in front of more than 4,000 fans. The first of three state titles in school history.

Eligibility

  • Graduate of Weiser High School
  • Graduated at least 10 years ago
  • Demonstrated achievement and leadership
  • Strong character and community impact

Nominate a Candidate

Foundation members may submit nominations for Hall of Fame consideration.
Athletics (Individual) Requirements

Graduate of Weiser High School
Graduated at least 10 years prior to nomination
Received two or more varsity letters in at least one sport
Demonstrated athletic achievement supported by records, awards, or recognition
Represented Weiser High School with strong character and sportsmanship

Minimum of 10 years since season
Achieved one or more of the following:
Outstanding varsity record
District championship
State tournament advancement
Academic recognition

Coached a minimum of five years at Weiser High School
No longer coaching at Weiser High School
Demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship, and character
Led teams to significant success (district or state level achievements)

Nominations are reviewed by a Selection Committee made up of members of the WHAF Board of Directors.
Up to five individuals and/or one team may be inducted each year
Candidates not selected may be renominated in future years
The Selection Committee reserves the right to make exceptions in special circumstances
